CLOCKER

Terms of Use

Last updated 23 August 2026

The short version. Clocker is a timing tool for training. Use it sensibly, do not rely on it for anything official, and you can cancel any time in your Apple ID settings.

What Clocker is

Clocker records a sprint at a high frame rate and works out when the runner crossed a finish line you chose. Every time it produces can be checked, and corrected by hand, in the app.

What Clocker is not

It is not certified timing equipment. Times depend on where you stand, what you point the phone at, lighting, and how you mark the finish. Do not use Clocker for official results, records, qualification, selection, or anything else where an inaccurate time carries consequences. Times are provided as they are, without any warranty of accuracy.

Your recordings

They are yours. We claim no rights over anything you record and, since nothing is uploaded, we have no copy of it. Keeping your own backups is up to you; deleting the app deletes its recordings.

Filming other people

You are responsible for having permission to record whoever you point the camera at, and for following the rules of the place you are in.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Ocean Path Ventures LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using Clocker, and any direct liability is limited to what you paid for the app in the previous twelve months.

Changes

These terms may change; the date at the top says when they last did. Continuing to use Clocker after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States.
